When I saw that the Louis Vuitton Exhibition was open in Los Angeles, I knew I had to go.  I wanted to see all the different handbags that they have had throughout the years and appreciate the brand’s 160 year history of creative and artist collaborations.  The promotional video for the exhibit depicted floor to ceiling art and I was excited to see all the art and handbags displayed at the exhibit.  I was going to be in Los Angeles for a nearby event so I convinced my hubby to go take a quick side trip to Rodeo Drive to checkout the Exhibit.

The Louis Vuitton Exhibit

History and Trunks

The exhibition started with the history of Louis Vuitton and showcased several trunks.

Handbags and Art

The trunks transition from classic Louis Vuitton handbag styles to more recent artist and art inspired collaboration handbags as well as art inspired by Louis Vuitton.  My favorite was the room that was covered in black and white wallpaper that had the famous name written all over the walls and ceiling.

Style & Costume

Then came the fashionista’s dream, the Louis Vuitton style and costume room which showcased famous Louis Vuitton fashion clothing pieces worn by famous celebrities at various events.

Where to Park for Free

Metered parking is free on Sunday so we were able to take advantage of that and parked Beverly Gardens Park, the location of the iconic Beverly Hills Sign (photo op!).  The park is a short walk to the Louis Vuitton Exhibition.

Go Before it Ends

The Beverly Hills Louis Vuitton exhibit was originally set to end in September but has been extended until November 10th, 2019 so check it out before it ends.
