At one point or another, you have probably owned a classic white button-up shirt. In fact, there may be one in your closet right now! Having worked in corporate America for many years, I have compiled quite the collection of button-up shirts and blazers. I decided to go for a more casual yet refined look.

Pair Your Classic White Button-up with Jeans

Chances are you probably have a pair of classic blue jeans in your closet too! Bust it out and pair it with another classic, the white button-up. Spruce up the outfit with a fun belt. Try some bright colors such as red or yellow, maybe some metallics or a shiny patent leather or faux leather belt. I wanted a lighter color palette so I opted for a light silver belt, subtle but still a little fun.

I’m all about creating balance with my looks. I wanted to add a bit more fun to the look so I opted for some Pointy Embellished Mules.

Toss on a Denim Jacket

You don’t have to be Canadian to wear a Canadian tuxedo, right? Denim on denim is risky business but when it works, it’s pretty nice. Fashion rules are meant to be broken. If there is something you want to try, I say, try it! If it doesn’t work out, at least you will get a good chuckle at it later on.
